I'm Alexis; an animation director, animator, cartoonist and artist.

Mid 2010 I graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor in Animation with Honours. Soon after I started working in the animation industry and I've been working in animation since then.

 

While I have experience in pre production, my passion and focus is character animation. I began solely as a 2d animator, learning 3d on the job. I've found that with a solid base of animation knowledge, learning new programs is relatively easy, and I'm able to adapt well to any project.

In 2014 I moved to Vancouver, Canada, to be a part of the animation hub here. While here I have worked in 3d television animation, first as an animator, working my way up to senior, lead, animation director and then series supervisor. I am currently an animation director, as I love to be able to dig into an episode, look after a small team and be more hands on with animation.

 

I still love to experiment and learn new things and have more recently been delving into embroidery animation. I have created several graphic novels alongside my day job. I just love to create and try new things.
